NEVER give up people..

There was once a sculptur who happened to be walking through the forest. He saw a huge stone and told himself 'i can make a nice statue out of this stone', and so, slowly and painfully he dragged the stone all the way back to his home. And then he begin. With a chisel and hammer he worked on his stone. Many many months later, after much hard work, he had finished. he had made himself a great piece of art. One afternoon a friend of his came to visit him and saw the statue and praised him for his work.. And the sculptur said. I didnt do much, the statue was there all along... I just chipped of the rough edges and smoothened it.

...That story really caught my attention, i was watching Rambo III and the colonel told Rambo that story... It sort of just open up a whole new topic to think about. ( my past time before falling asleep ) i thought about how we, as humans all start our life just like that stone. And slowly and painfully the process of 'sculpting' starts.. Been disciplined by parents.. Going to school.. experiencing failure.. Negativity.. Lust.. going through heart break.. losing a loved one.. sickness.. greed.. jeolousy.. and the list goes on.

What im trying to say is that as we grow, we become who we are, by what we experience. No one can choose your path in life.. Disciplined children lead to a better society. Education gives us a solid foundation.. Failures, learn from failing. and turn failure to success. The 'once' negative have now turned to become optimist.. Going through a heart break makes you more cautious in giving up your love too easily. Sickness, if prevented is 'GOOD health'.

SO, where did it go wrong..?? why is evil still in this world? why do murderers cold heartedly kill? why do kidnappers abduct? why?? GREeD? is that why? or could be jeolousy? unfortunately we will never know why.. IN THis time and age we have to come to terms that EVIL is still around. A young student could just go on a shooting spree and kill dozens of students, or a beautiful young girl could be abducted from her nice resort apartment while sleeping..

Its just sad, it has just been a month or so since a student of Asian descent went on a killing rampage and cold heartedly killed 32 and wounded many more in Virginia and now, no one speaks about it. Its old news.. Life goes on.. But those people could have been just like us living life and enjoying every bit of their time while they had it. Was it their time to go? Was it destined for them to die the way they did? if so.. WHY?... again... we shall never know.

And two weeks ago in the town of Algarve,Portugal, a young girl Madeleine was sleeping in a nice resort apartment with her twin siblings, while her parents were having a meal nearby. There were checking on their children every 10 mins to See if there were ok. but on their last check, Madeleine had gone missing. The ground floor window of their apartment had been opened, and to this very day.. two weeks later police are still hunting down for her abductor/s... Again i ask.. why would anyone kidnap a young girl? where in their hearts did they find the coldness to take a young girl away from her parents? COUld the suspect be mentally ill? or could he be an enemy of the family? Hasnt he ever had a mother before? didn he know how she would have been hurt even when he got the slightest bruise? it just makes me wonder..

Truth to be told, we could go on asking questions, many a time not being able to answer them... i call that acceptance.. We accept the fact that its not a perfect world and problems will always be there.. Life is full of its twist and turns.. we can either choose to follow it going thru the hardships and pain or fall down in the process and regretting. BUT since we only live once, why not we take on the challenge of going on with life... with much practice we can learn to enjoy life, and by life, i dont mean the whole picture.. Life simply is birth and death.. but what happens inbetween this two ends are what really matters.. Make the decision to help yourself instead of asking for help.. IM a Christian.. and i know many christians who say god will help me, god will help me but, they're still failures.. WHY? GOD CAN ONLY HELP YOU IF YOU HELP YOURSELF.

I always wonder how much a negative person can achieve if he/she spents all the time he/she has on complaining on being positive.. why not instead of wasting precious time on insulting yourself, destructively critisizing yourself, complaining.. you know.. just start complimenting yourself.. shower yourself wf compliments all day long. make your self feel good. STop critisizing yourself but instead assure yourself that it can be done.. (constructive critisizing).. MOst people say that a person who can do all this has a gift . BUt again.. not true... all this can be done.. It just needs alittle bit of time and constant repetition.. Make it a habit..

i also know people who pretend nothing is wrong but theyre actually going thru hell inside.. Although this might sound like a bad thing.. IF you are not the kind to share your problems with others then theres nothing at all wrong with pretending.. Brian Tracy, a well known motivational speaker once said in one of his seminars.. The concept of FAKING IT TILL YOU MAKE IT.. can be applied to any situation. when you're down, pretend you're over the moon.. WHen you fail.. pretend you've already pass the next exam and be happy about it.. IM Not crazy.. ALL this effects us subconsciencly.. .. AS we pretend or 'FAKE IT' we are actually cheating the subconscience into thinking weve made it and MAGIC happens.. haha... enuf of that subconscience thingy la..


Just need everyone to know that there are no limitations to what humans can do.. ( fake it ) if we consider miracles to be something impossible happening or occuring . IT simply means that the impossible had happened and so its not so much of a miracle SO why not think EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.. and so nothing is a miracle? no harm in it right? if man can walk on the moon, or of Elton John and David Furnish can be a couple.. whatmore can be impossible? :S :D

I was suppose to do a review on TOO SHU VUN, but had only come up with time now, on what is suppose to be my study time. Lol so shuv u See, i chose to write bout u over priority, lol

anyway people.. Shuvun. where do i start.. hmm, at the moment all i remember is the fun time we had in Edinburgh in Scotland but i actually knew her briefly before that during winter. It was one of days while i was in Brunei hall.. We, shuvun herself, her cousin Hui Ping and myself decided to meet up.

i was kinda excited, because i was gonna hang out with 2 people i had absolutely no idea who they were or why they wanted to even meet up with me.. BUUTTTT... as it turned out there was a greater 'picture' that lied ahead.. hehehe.. i shall talk about tat 'picture' later... anyway, we went around walkin for sometime and Hui Ping got us lost... Lol.. we then had to take the tube to go to this place near Bayswater. what it called ah... ?? forgt man.. Lol anyway yea.. SUPPOSEDLY, their duck rice is top class and shuv and her dear cuz wanted to go there and i, as always so fondly agreed, though i dunt eat DUCK.. CHIcken breast only. Lol.

SO... they had their nasi itik and i had my Youg Chow fried rice which was the 1st rice meal i had since brunei. :S

After that very very memorable meal, we Took the tube to victoria station and walked around searching high and Lo for cornelious.. and later my ANNA...

anyway, back to shuvun.. wat im trying to say is, my 1st impression of her was veryy very Good unlike wat sek hao said la. sory anna.. but then again.. she didn like me so i would never know. =p lol.. That was a fun nite ehhh...

and then next its January and i Hear news bout my best friend and SHuv being a couple.. i was really happy for him.. because i knew he was in Good hands.. (from what i observed, lol) we then decided to meet up during the easter holidays and man what a blast were we in for.. Lol

EDINBURGH came and HAO,SHUV, my cus V, My cindolll and myself met up and had a great time.. cant explain it but the pictures on facebook tells a story.. ooh and speaking of pictures.... as i mentioned earlier the 'picture' that lied ahead was the union (if that word can be used) of sek hao and shuvun.. i said that i didnt know why i was going out with her and her cousin that normal day in december.. now i do.. It was destined.. it was the day, i was goNna meet my Anna's girl...

So there you have it people. Too Shu Vun.. a Good friend, a really nice person and even more a great soulmate for my anna... :D

Hackers Alert-Natty in da house-

Since I don’t belong to this blog I rather put the title as Hackers Alert but the actual title should have been 'The memory of Sek Hao and Shuvvy'

Hehehhee...I wonder how I manage to get in here(A)(A)(A)(rolling my eyes looking at suresh wherever he is) hehehe.. But yeah its Natalia here and I’m shuvs bestfriend in UK for almost 4 years now.

Firstly, I didn’t know about SH until when i came to visit her and she was showing him and his friend around London-so we sort of met then. Then, she kept on telling me how cute SH was (actually is because she still goes on with it- not a complaint) hehe.

From there on, it leads to another one of the SH's visit to London. The night we all went to NYT. It matters so much to her for me to go clubbing with her that very night because SH was coming to town. I was going to bail on that since i had some work to do but because I’ve promised her I go on with the clubbing plan. She bought a new top for it and do u know when someone is happy and the fact that she was under alcohol influence her happiness reflects more. That was how Shuv was. She was extremely happy I’ve never seen her happier and i thought 'Gosh I’m glad I made it because if I didn’t I would have missed the chance of being part of that very special moment of her life'.

Shuv did tell me some of the SH's story and i think i did tell her once 'If u keep on trying and if u think dat person is worth it then u'll get something out of it'. Personally judging on those rejection from sh and me as her bestfren, i do hate what sh did to her. It was rather unfair for her because all she did was ‘liking’ him. If u were in her position and u like someone but dat person treated u in a heartbreaking way, how can u deal with it? I admire the fact that she is strong because having to put up wif something like love rejection, it requires a lot of strength. One can always fall and never rise again but when she fell she didnt fell off straight to the ground, she rise and shine. I may hate SH for what he did to her then but he won me back by taking care of me when i was drunk, i wasnt being bias but he showed the quality most guys lack off!!

Despite saying all this, the fact that i know how much this two people are(ahem*madlyinlove*), i really wanna say thanks for taking the oppurtunity and risk to win her and most importantly to get to know her. That's why they say 'Tak kenal maka tak cinta', which means 'If u dont know somebody, u won’t love em' and many thanks for taking care of her and for loving her...

P/S:SH LEE,I almost cried reading ur post, like how u werent afraid to admit what u did and it takes a real man to do that

Shuv, Dont kill me for doing this, I may not pay a lot of attention to u these days but dats because i know u've been taken care of emotionally, physically and mentally and I TOLD U I'M NOT WANKING!!!!!

SHU VUN!

Shuv, my girlfriend!

met shuv sometime in 2001. that was form 3. First seen her from cikgu normah's tuition and noticed her used to b wearing a ring on the middle toe. She was always sittin at the seat right in from of a window and to her left was the clever adeline and to her right, the always noisy woei chien, while myself, su n mei ann at a small table spending our time off talking n not tuitioning much. We nvr talked back then. I had that motion tho but chances were not there. Found her rather interesting but did not dare to initiate to talk to her..(Can't be using the same approach i used on Su in Form 1!) hahaha

Half a decade gone by and nvr thought I would meet her again but we did! it was at Brunei no.1 "hotspot", The Mall! Introduced proudly to us by fellow skl, eve. Then went on to shisha...After that we hang out quite often, at gripps, taurean, gadong n etc

Interesting section! I'm just gonna be very honest here as to convey my feelings so hope no one is thinking I'm being too offensive or made up of too much ego :) Things become really tricky when I found out Shuv did like me! My initial reaction was rather naive..Guess cos i didn't know her well..I even kept telling some of my friends i will not like her..very very primitive way of thinking..tsk shameful idea!! But we got along well. Its actually quite fun but knowing the fact that she liked me, it makes me feel like keeping a fair distance from her..rather surreal ways to things like this.

Reaching uk, She brought me round London and because of how I did not just want to hang out with her alone, i actually brought Wai Cheung along =P hahaha I'm sure shuv isn't dumb to realise it and I'm pretty aware of how it affected shuv..there's nothing much I could really do to be honest so was just hanging on in there and keeping it unspoken yet apparent. sending that sorry-i-dun-like-you message the best possible way.

As we move on, we get along better. The usual msn and webcams connect us to each other happily and we clicked. All was good and fair till the day when she came to lufbra! Cindy, Remember the day i met you during Nottingham Games? That very night before (Friday), spicy things happened. You know what i mean and it happened again on sat night. hahaha..its not something to be laughed at. I know it hurt her a lot. I not only said things that hurt her but cruelly did what I've done. Felt miserable for quite a while and it eventually managed to unbother me. I felt really bad but there's nothing else i can do except promising myself and her i will never do it again :)

That was really some hardcore revelations! anyway moving on..I started to fall for her as i got to discover more of the real her. Seen the really amazing of her from the msn chats of serious talks and humble revelations, and particularly the eurotrip!

There are a lot of people out there who dun give very good first impressions and i have to admit shuv is one of those bunch. I thought she was loud back then. Sometimes i feel like she's saying things too quickly without thinking it over..i guess the harsh comments do not sound as mean as how she actually means it.

Shuv worries a hell lot about meeting my family n friends. hahahaha told her a dozen not to! I would describe shuv as a girl with two faces. One is to portray herself to d others and d other is to keeping it to herself. Its really interesting to see how a girl like her could carry herself so well without giving others the hint of what she really is feeling..This is deep..Let's not venture in there.

A lot of you out there have not met shuv face-to-face. In time, we all will! My task here is to introduce to you briefly who she is the not-mushy way:

1. She dress up in all sorts of varieties and still manage to pull them all off really well
2. She understands me and always tying to make things up to me (except a couple of force-me-to-london thingy =P)
3. She is very sensible. She has her ways to approach things her way which I do feel is the best possible way
4. She can make the most hilarious faces
5. She treats me the way i need and want her to
6. She loves and values every single person around her
7. She's really open minded and can express herself with ease
8. She is simple, personality-wise
9. She is currently catching up with Grey's anatomy, one tree hill and America's next top model. Even German's next top model as well
10. She loves to imitate my words, poses n naohia

Its getting too long n i shall call it off. It's really amazing how things can change. Basically shuv touched my heart, sparked my body, reached into my soul and i know i will always feel complete by her side..

Review on Patricia Poh Wan Wen

Great picture Hao.. hehe.. and now as promised, here's my review of Patricia Poh Wan Wen..

I mentioned in Share's review that i had never known she was in MS before 2002... :D But for Wen.. its actually different, i noticed her in form 1 itself. It was during our 1st annual college jogathon or walkathon.. what ever u call it. Anyway, i saw two chinese girls ( Cindy and Patricia ) talking to Kah Wee..

My 1st impression was.. WAHLAU this girls.. SOOOO noisy especially one of them.. You see, back then i couldnt tell the difference between Cindy and Patricia... So only in form 4 did i have the intelligence needed to make an educated guess on who the noisy girl talking with Kah Wee was.. hehe..

So Patricia, the friend of mine whom had became my daughter back in form 4 by the establishment of the PILLAI Family. Yes, i dunt really remember how it all happened . I Just remember i was the Dad and Az was my wife and WEN was my daughter. haha ( the things we used to do. Lol ) Well I personally i feel that sorta made us closer..oooooh and wen i actually had my first dance ever with You on your 15th birthday party .haha..

Now when i stop and just think back on what we have gone through.. its jus crazy.. i feel as if im in a tunnel, falling vertically downwards. And the walls of the cylindrical tunnel are illustrated with still memories (pictures). As i pass down the tunnel, i See Wen and realise that she was always smiling, always cheerful.. All the get togethers at her house, the car rides, the jokes, the phone calls, me teaching her how to drive and so much more.... and then suddenly i See the smiles slowly dissapearing and i see tears.. but i doesnt last long.. before i can even concentrate on trying to figure out why shes crying, i See flashes of consoling, i See hugs.. i See the smiles slowly resurfacing.

YEs people.. IVE GONE THrough tooo much wf wen.. id call her my BEST BEST BEST buddy.. I feel so at ease with her.. shes a great person..now im feeling alil emotional.. haha.. anyway.. just need her to know i reallly reallly miss her. Miss escaping work to go hav a chat with her.. i miss goin to her fridge and taking chocolates out to my hearts content. i miss just hanging out in her small sitting room to play a game of Crash Bandicoot racing with her. We've jus gone through too much in such a short time span.. i Feel as if ive known her since we were toddlers.. that phrase is always used by people but trust me.. its very true.

Moving on...

Wen has sorta become known as the girl who Seeks attention as in she Loves to be the in the limelight. And by no way do we get annoyed by this. In fact.. WE love you for this. In our past few reviews Hao and myself have sort of made it a tradition to try relate the reviewed person with a practical application.

So..... , just to keep that going im gonna say what i feel when i think of wen's attention seeking needs. Lol

I feel as if were all animals in a farm. A big big farm and its a nice multi animal farm ranging from an Ape to the common house cat. YES, i proudly call myself Suresh the ape, then there's Sek Hao the cow, Fadhli the monkey, Cindy the Goose :D , KC the cat, Az the goat, Share the bull dog, Val the duck, Hau the Cock or Rooster.. Wei the donkey and so on.. u get the point.. were all animals in a BIG BIG farm and then theres WEN.. THE PEACOCK ... always there among us smiling and all cheerful, but then there comes a time when we might talk bout something new and then suddenly SHE WOULD SPREAD OUT HER BIG BIG fan like thingy on her tail... trying to get our attention again... and as always.. she succeeds..

hehe.. now it has become a point where we're just waiting for her to show us her big big fan cos we LOVE IT WHEN SHE does it... shes the baby of the group, the cute wan.. Just Look at the pictures below.. shes sSOOOOOOO CUTE.. feel like pinching her cheeks . Lol. anyway wen.. thanx for everything, thanks for being part of my teenage years.. but even more, thanks for being part of my life..You're a dear friend whom i'll always tressure till the end of times.. hehe..

Review on ma mei mei! the b'day girl!

Wen! My adorable friend since 1996! wow wow!! that is 11 years of friendship! I remember back in primary 4, we started talking to each other by talking about our houses! back then i used to live in Subok n i think that was our very first topic of conversation when cindy as well was there talking about my 'big' house..Cindy said my house was big to Wen IF IF IF i'm not mistaken! but in fact, its not at all big! well well that's a decade ago and the day when our seed of friendship is first planted..

Some revelations! A rather hilarious one. Wen is in fact, my first ever crush!! yes! back in primary 4 hahahaha I remember the day when i found wen DID like me, it was on a geography test day. Because of how excited I was for that fact, I actually failed my geography test! hahaha i remember its about writing some modes of transport such as land, air and etc but i mistakenly went on drawing cars and helicopters cos the answer table was big! hahaha apart from that, I remember the girls back then were crazy about collecting stickers and writing auto-biography! And Wen was one of them hahah (i wonder if you still have it :P) Would be interesting to look at those things again.

Anyway, we were very close for the next three or four years till form 1. We basically lost contact after her birthday party in her current house which she invited me n kah wee out of the boys i think..hehehe at that time, Aziemah or Share were not in the picture yet =P Throughout form 1 to 3, it was just a couple of hi and bye's in school..Not good..how could that happen!?!?! i'm wondering myself now! ANyway things turn round again in form 4 when we were put in the same class. This is when we started to hang out again like how we used to back in primary schooldays~ hehe but this time round, its so much more meaningful. we share our thoughts and truly care for each other! That idea of pillai family strengthens our bond till this very day..We are brother-sisterly loving each other now!


Wen's favourite line would be "Awwww so cute!" There were a lot of time when she had that expression, and me n the boys(now men) particularly kc would jus look at each other blankly! because every lil' thing to her is cute and adorable. I guess she knows how to appreciate it better than us haha And also, i think she Complain the most out of all the girls..But i think it didnt'get out of hands so its all good =P Trivial stuff, dun remember your whinings and complains anymore =P That may well be the reasons why we all love you so much!

Wen to me is a very carefree girl! Always smiling and cheerful! To me, she does hide her feelings sometimes but at the same time tryin to show everyone she's happy and content..I guess that's her approach to problems..I think she's very sensible in whatever she does...She's got her ways to cheering up others too! She's really friendly and sociable i wud say..YOu can see how smiley she is when talkin to anyone!


Naohia...Writing this makes me a lil' emotional about missing yoU...Ahh..hope to see Wen soon and it will be so much fun like how we used to hang out at your place..Those were the damn good days that I still think of often..
